Coola
is from the last foal crop of Ima Cool Skip.
Her dam is a 16 hand Reserve
World Champion dun daughter of Kid Clu.
My friend, Jackie Hardwicke in
Australia
now owns the mare and Lucy was her first foal. When
we bred to Ima Cool Skip that last year, this
was the only filly we got. I
think this young mare has the best of both the Kid Clu and the
Cool Skip lines. She has a
lot of muscle and major class. Her hind leg is huge and she has a
big front end also.
Besides that she has a lot of cut muscle.
Besides that she is a big pet and loves attention. I
had several opportunities to sell her but had always decided that
I needed to keep her for a broodmare.
In fact, I put her under lights this year and then Mike
told me that I had too many mares to breed and since she is young,
I decided to skip her. Sometimes
I think that if I need to cut down on my number of mares, she
would be the one to sell because I have not bred her yet, and
then when I look at her, I change my mind.
Coola has been sold.
