Frostie
is one of the three embryos out of Miss Bunny
Tardee and Exceptionist we flushed last year.
She is special. Her dam is now 20 years old
and we were unable to get any embryos out of
her this year. Frostie may be the last filly
out of this wonderful mare. Look at the
amount of muscle on this NN filly. Her half
sister, You Bet Im Cool is also NN and what a
mare she is. The mares out of Miss Bunny
Tardee are fantastic producers. I love the
“squareness” of this filly along with her
short back, pretty hip, great hocks and
neck. I would really like to keep her to
replace her dam but with the number of mares
we have, I may have to sell her. What a
fantastic broodmare she will make.

Bucky is
by Kids Classic Style and out of You Bet Im
Cool (Rebecca). What a surprise it was when
his HYPP came back as NN. He reminds me of a
big, gangly kid at this time. He is going to
be a huge, massive stallion. His actual
biological dam is my “pride and joy”
Rebecca. The mare in the pictures is his
recipient mother, Pepper. She is no slouch
either as she is by RH Mr Imprint and has
Paint halter points. Bucky is a colt that will
make a great stallion prospect. The pedigree
doesn’t come any better and he has the
conformation to match it

Phenomenal Affair
Sherry is a big
gorgeous NH filly by Exceptionist out of
Phenomenal Affair. She has an outstanding
topline and should make a great show filly.
Her dam has halter points and was qualified
for the World. Phenomenal Affair stands 15.3
and I absolutely love her pedigree and
conformation. Sherry will make a great
broodmare after her show career is over. It
is hard to find a filly with as much
heartgirth and pretty hocks as Sherry
has. We are offering her for sale as we have
too much work with the number of mares we
currently have.

"Mickey"

Miss Bunny Tardee
Mickey is the
“twin” embryo by Exceptionist out of Miss
Bunny Tardee. When we flushed her, we
harvested two embryos on the same flush. One
was Frostie, who was born on February 16 and
the other was Mickey who was born on March
16. Both of them are full siblings to Benny
the NH colt that we sold earlier. Both
Mickey and Frostie are NN and both will make
excellent breeding stock. Miss Bunny Tardee,
their dam is the foundation of our program.
She has produced World Champions and her
daughters are sought after as broodmares. The
cross with Exceptionist is ideal for a
potential stallion because this cross is line
breeding to Tardee Impressive. Talk about
muscle on an NN colt. That, along with a
gorgeous topline and hocks will make him as
asset to any breeding program. It is
difficult to find such quality in an NN
stallion prospect. We were unable to get any
embyros out of Miss Bunny Tardee this year and
since she is now 20 years old, this could be
the last of a great line of horses out of her.

"Daytona"

Daytona is a
gorgeous liver chestnut filly sired by
Exceptionist, out of PJ Prophets Cool
Skip. “Patty” as we call her dam, is the
mare that Lanis and I bought who was also
the dam of Polly. We lost Polly, who was
sired by Kid Clu when she accidentally
broke her leg last year. Daytona is named
after Daytona, Florida where Lanis was
when she was born. Talk about a pretty
filly----this filly has all the class that
you would expect from the cross of
Exceptionist and Patty. She has the
shortest back and so much heart girth and
is very correct in her legs. I think she
will make an awesome show filly and
eventually a great broodmare. It is very
hard to find a filly with the qualities
that Daytona has. Besides that, she is a
real pleasure to be around. |

Sadie is
the youngest of the foal crop. What a
Cutie she is. Lanis and I bought her
dam in foal and we were lucky enough
to have such a nice filly. Sadie
resembles her mother in that she has a
super long neck and great hocks and a
lot of muscle. Her sire is a Tee Jay
Roman bred stallion who is owned by
Roger Shabel. Sadie is Mike’s
favorite of the babies, probably
because she is the youngest and he
likes the dark brown color.

Benny is probably
the heaviest muscled colt I have
raised. He is a combination of
doubling up Tardee Impressive
on both sides of the pedigree
and then introducing Ima Cool
Skip and Touchdown Kid to the
mixture. He has so much muscle
and is also very good legged and
minded. Miss Bunny Tardee is the
foundation of our program---she
has produced World Champions and
her daughters are proving to be
great producers. Mares such as
You Bet Im Cool, CJ Miss Cool
Tardee, and Miss Cool Tardee are
some of her daughters who are
making their mark on the
industry. One of her sons,
Clueman (now deceased)
produced a World Champion
Paint Stallion this year and
Carri Jones great mare, Miss
Carri Clu (Henrietta) was also
sired by him. If you like
muscle in your horses, Benny
should certainly produce that
along with a gorgeous
topline,pretty head, a huge hip
and great hocks. I intend to
retain some breedings to him if
he is sold. I don't think they
come any better as far as a
breeding prospect is concerned.
