Olivia is an NN daughter of Ima Cool Skip out of a great mare that we owned, The Magnolia Kid. “Maggie” her dam, was way ahead of her time as far as quarter horses go.  I remember Charlie Dobbs and Tim Finkenbender coming to our place years ago and Charlie stopping at her stall and asking how we  were able to get this mare.  He told me that he and Tommy Manion had offered a lot  for her but Clarence Bruell who owned her would not sell her. Charlie told me that he thought she was the best mare they had bred to Pretty Impressive when they owned him.  I raised 3 daughters of  Ima Cool Skip out of her and all of them were NN. Larry Krieger in Michigan owns one and Shawna  Honigman in California has the other and we kept the youngest. Olivia  has been a great producer for us----her foals always seem to have long necks, big hips and gorgeous heads.  My friend, Dudley Pillow always told me that Cooleah was one of the few mares that was good enough to produce a stud.
