Dee Edmison and Jim Duncan had a gorgeous colt. Look at the head, neck, back and croup on this baby. He is 2 weeks old by Fred (Classically) out of Tigherntightfitnjeans by I Gotta Cool Secret.

Finally a "Fred foal" and a filly besides. Russ Ellis called me yesterday afternoon and told me that Boots had a filly. This is the story from Russ. He spent a lot of money on cameras in order to watch stalls. Well, yesterday, he was at work and he looked at his phone to see his palomino filly by Supernatural Fella which is about a week old. Then, he decided to look at Boots and lo and behold he saw something in the corner. He immediately called Felisha who was in the house and told her that Boots had had her baby. Guess the cameras didn't work this time either as they missed the first foal being born too. I can't wait to see more pictures of this little girl when she "unfolds" Her mother is Ima Cool Beauty Too, a beautiful double registered mare and this baby has a lot of white. I told Russ that since she isn't a palomino, he will probably have to trade her to me for one that is. I am not sure that he liked that idea.

Olivia (Cooleah) decided to foal at 6 AM this morning.

February 10, 2016

It must be the day for palomino stud colts. Marie-Eve Jolin's mare had a beautiful palomino stud colt this morning by Fred out of Secret Perpetulism by The Top Secret.
February 11, 2016

I was so overtired last night that I had a very difficult time getting to sleep, but when 6 AM came, I was up and in the barn as usual. The temperature is 12 below zero with the wind chill this morning. Around 8 o'clock Juliet (Malibukini) started acting funny. Then, to my surprise she laid down and foaled. I called Katie and she and Bob Luebker who helps me came just in time to see a beautiful FILLY be born. I don't know who is prouder of her------me or her mother, Juliet.
February 24, 2016

You know I'm tired when I have a colt and don't post many pictures. It was a long night. Time To Play Girl was overdue and I thought for sure she would foal around 6 o'clock. You know how I always want fillies but this is one big beautiful boy. Fred (Classically) really put some leg on him. I will take more pictures of him when I get some time.
February 19, 2016

So happy to be there to help deliver my good friend, Katie Samuelson's beautiful palomino filly by Fred (Classically). The baby is huge and she is the first foal out of her mare. We bred her mare and Olivia (Cooleah) the same day last year and she got a filly and I got a stud colt

February 29, 2016

Bill Stanforth called this morning to tell me that he has a Fred (Classically) filly out of Jamaica Rose.

Classically Miss Jewel, 2 months old.
March 16, 2016

Lesley Johnson and Bill Gibson has her baby Fred (Classically) colt. He is a beautiful palomino stud colt. I couldn't be happier for her.
March 22, 2016

Scott Francois sent me a 24 hour old picture of his Fred (Classically) filly out of his daughter of Fearles Looks like she has the good back and neck that all of Fred's babies have been having. Scott lives in Marinette, Wisconsin and you can see by the amount of hair on the filly that it is mighty cold up there. I don't know how he does it but he always tells me he wants stud colts and gets fillies. I think I need to keep the semen he gets and send him the semen I put in my mares.
March 28, 2016

Look what Lisa Westmorland had born this morning!! A beautiful filly by Fred (Classically) out of Intimidating Skipette. The mare foaled at 361 days and she was bred on ovulation. Guess the theory that if you breed close to ovulation and your mare foals late produces a stud colt is an "old wives tale".

April 8, 2016

A golden filly born this morning by Fred (Classically) out of Nice Cheeks by Mr Yella Fella out of Ruthie Clone. Scott Francois is so lucky. I don't know how I send him "filly sperm" and keep the "stud sperm" for myself. And, do you believe he prefers stud colts?

Filly at 12 days old.

April 10, 2016

John and Julie Kreider posted pictures of their 1 week old Appaloosa filly by Fred (Classically) out of Pickles (Pickadilly Lily) I love her and John tells me she has striped hooves and will color. I am so lucky to be able to breed such quality Appaloosa mares to Fred. When I was young, I came close to raising Appaloosas. My friend, Mary Simons and I went to see Bright Eyes Brother and meet Cecil Dobbins. We drove and being young girls, slept in the car in church parking lots at night. That was a long time ago. I also went to Bill Laurie's and saw Impressive Andrew and spent time with them. And, I saw Dreamfinder and spent time there too. So, as you can see, I am excited to see some Appaloosa babies out of Fred. This is the first baby but there will be quite a few next year.

Filly 2 weeks old.

Look at this beautiful Fred ( Classically) paint filly. Owned by Lisa Westmorland

May 2, 2016

Lisa Westmorland has been busy raising her orphan baby. I asked her what her NN filly by Fred (Classically) out of Intimidating Skippette looks like so she took the time to snap me this picture. She said the filly is "starting to bloom" now. It looks to me that she has done more than started.

April 28, 2016

Finally Debbie Schmitz got her Fred (Classically) colored filly. Last night she messaged me that Lily of the Valley was pacing and pawing and she was watching her. Finally the mare went down and after that there was no message from Debbie. I woke up around 12:30 and there on my IPAD were pictures of her FILLY. You don't know how much Debbie wanted a girl. Last year, the mare had the gorgeous buckskin colored stud colt and Debbie told me that if she could only get a filly, it had a forever home with her. Well, guess this little darling has found herself a home. I am wondering if she is buckskin or bay. Maybe Debbie will know today. That is 2 colored foals by Fred out of Debbie's breeding stock paint mare.

May 22, 2016

Debbie Schmitz sent me pictures of her Fred (Classically) APHA filly who is almost a month old now. She is NN and Debbie finally got the scours cleared up on her. She is planning to breed the mare back and I told Dr Fox that I would have my husband, Mike deliver the semen in exchange for some of the delicious cookies that Debbie makes.

February 22, 2015

Another little "Freddette" Dennis Drephal sent me a picture of his 4 day old filly by Fred (Classically) out of an own daughter of Ima Cool Skip. The filly was born early. Sure wish my mares would foal early or at least on time instead of going over.
March 17, 2015

Larry and Anne Lemke's mare, Telusives Phenomenal had a palomino filly by Fred (Classically)  I am anxious to see the little girl----can't believe all the white legs but then I guess Fred does have white on all 3 legs.
March 19, 2015

Scott Francois had a gorgeous palomino filly born this morning. She is by Classically (Fred) and out of a daughter of Mr Yella Fella.
March 28, 2015

Kaye and Bobby Rollins sent me this picture of their month old colt by Classically (Fred). He looks like he will have a show career to me. Not only is he a nice colt, but he also has some fantastic owners.
April 10, 2015

My good friend and partner, Scott Francois sent me this picture of his 6 day old colt by Fred (Classically) out of Miss Sizzlin Te. The colt is NN as both parents are and the colt will be double registered as the mare is also paint. Scott thinks the colt has enough belly white to be double registered too.
April 11, 2015

What a surprise I had this morning when I walked in the barn. There in the stall stood a big filly. No warning, no foal alert, no straw in the stall. Filly was just nursing, mare had passed her placenta. This is an NN filly by Classically (Fred) out of Rebecca (You Bet Im Cool)
April 12, 2015

Marcia Vail's newborn Fred (Classically) stud colt. The dam is Telusive, Mr Conclusion mare. I am anxious to see what he looks like in a few weeks.
April 19, 2015
